Themes In Design was launched in October
1999.
I have been working with
graphics and web design since 1998. I first
started out updating a personal site. While
browsing the internet and seeing all the unique
designs it inspired many ideas. I started
playing with HTML and graphics. It lead me to
build my skills in web page development so I could put
forward my
creative abilities to others as a
free lance web site
designer in addition offering custom web
elements for websites at low cost
and affordable prices.
I'm
online about 50% of the time. I enjoy reading
and learning things about HTM, DHTML and CSS.
Once you get to know everything each area has to
offer, you soon find yourself with many ideas
regarding designs and graphics.
I have several other web sites that I
developed and maintain. Should you ask, why
would I want to put up another one?
Well, it's like this................. why do
we buy new clothes, a flower pot or even a new magazine?
Because we want it and we enjoy the pleasure we
get from it. I enjoy creating web sites and
experimenting with different layouts and
effects. I can create a whole NEW world for
others to enjoy and maybe teach them a few
things I have learned.

On a personal note, besides enjoying
creating graphics and designing web sites,
I
like reading books on feng shui, computers,
gardening and antiques.
I also enjoy cooking, gardening, garage sales, antiques,
going for walks and country/oldies music. My other love is animals. I currently
own 2 German Shepherds and several cats. My dream is to get an older
farm house and restore it. I would also like to have a place where I can
help stray cats that are left homeless or abandon by their careless
owners. It breaks my heart to see these intelligent and loving creatures
left on the street to defend for themselves.
